I am married to a man who has moved us into his mothers house because he doesn’t want to go to work, then uses excuses about how he DOES want to go to work, and that it’s his employers fault for allowing him to take so much time off!

I have two kids and I am tired of waiting around for my husband to get it together. I need to make a life of my own!

He is a fool, he had it all. A doting wife, a house, loving kids, a UNION job. But nothing is ever suiting to him so he sees fit to throw it all away. He seems like he might finally be coming around, but after 7 years of his crap- I’m sooo ready to move on. I need somewhere to go where I can get all of this stuff off my chest, and do a little b****ing. I wish I had kept a diary of some of the stuff he’s pulled, like making me ride my bike home because he didn’t want to come bring our kids to come pick me up and wanted to leave them with a friend who he knew all of a couple of weeks. Oh, and here’s this gem- our doctor had to pull me in the office and tell me that if I couldn’t get my husband to shower, he wouldn’t be able to see him anymore! And now sits there and tells me how he’s such a great guy. He makes me crazy! Literally he has had me feeling like a crazy psycho because I expect him to work and put the kids to bed in proper attire with sheets on their beds! I am over it!

Sorry to rant, but man I have to find a way out of this situation. So please, if you know of a good website to check out pass it on to me.

My husband is verbally abusive, and after months of trying to get up the courage to leave him, he has made the first step by leaving me! He left Saturday and said he was going to file for divorce on Tuesday. He has blocked all cell phone communication and gone into hiding. In the meantime, I have no idea what’s going on with the divorce and I am sick with tension. I don’t know if he’ll come home or what. I have little money, so I’m waiting to see what he’ll do and I’m waiting to be served with divorce papers, but nothing’s happening!
I searched my county’s courthouse online and they have no records of either of us. Say he did file Tuesday, how soon will I be served or find out? If he filed through his attorney, will there be a delay? I don’t want to spend the money to file if he already did. Are people usually served right away or are there paperwork delays? What will be my timeline from here on? We were married 11 months with no kids.

His lawyer went to the court and they’re allowing him 2 hours to search with sheriffs in attendance-he has to pay for the lawyer, sheriffs-this is in Connecticut and I just don’t understand-I thought it was over and he is again being allowed to look…I don’t understand-

He is a good father but not a great husband. he patronises me, he doesn’t show any interest in what I do and he rarely ( almost never ) does things that he knows would make me happy. and i am not talking about big things here. Simple stuff, like taking a vacation together ( we’ve never been on holiday). I feel I am not appreciated and counted upon and I don’t deserve that.
